3) Compensation Plan: A good, fair compensation plan will – and should – have the potential to pay you extremely well for your efforts and success; where a poor compensation plan can leave you spinning your wheels with no reward in sight.

4) Leadership: What are the owners and other big guns of the company actually doing for the company? What are there rolls within the company? What are there backgrounds? It’s probably a very good thing if at least one of the head people knows the Network Marketing business model well.

5) Strong Upline: Look to be directly under someone who is obviously, and proven to be successful in the business, as well as with the very opportunity that you’re looking at. Some have made their fortunes with other companies, and that’s all well and good, but you want to make sure that they were able to use those same skills with this opportunity as well. Be sure that they are willing to spend the time to train you, and that they have a system in place that makes them money consistently. In network marketing systems are everything!

6) Company Finances: You want a company with a good, solid financial standing. Debt free and profiting, this way they can sustain and weather any unforeseen storms that may come there way.

7) Reputation: It’s not hard to find skeletons anymore since the internet has become mainstream. Check around both online and off and make sure there are many more good reviews and opinions about the company than bad ones.
